Before doing my own thing and starting my own brand (and before I become a mom), I had a very demanding job. I was still in college and needed cash. And I needed it ASAP. I’m good with kids so I went into childcare.
Although I loved engaging with children, the long days would get exhausting. There were times where I worked 12 hours a day, leaving no time for my personal life.
My goal and dream was to make money online and have more free time. I started researching and looking for different ways to bring in a side income.
The jobs I’ll be mentioning are easy work from home jobs for moms. They often require minimal experience, beginner skills, and no or low start-up cost.

Where can you find work from home jobs for moms with no degree?
Don’t limit yourself. The internet is an infinite space with many opportunities for everyone. Think outside the box and make a list of things you would like to do. After you have a decent list going, add the skills you would need and the ones you currently have. See which skills would add value to what you want to do.
For example, if you would like to sell a product online, where would you start? What skills do you need or currently have to make that happen? Are you a social media whiz? Can you craft cool stuff with your own hands?
If you’re looking to work for a company or small business, you can also check out job boards like FlexJobs, Remote.co, We Work Remotely, and Remote OK. These sites are like the ultimate remote job hubs. They list gigs from all sorts of fields.
Don’t forget about the freelancing job boards. Check out Upwork, Freelancer, and Fiver. I’m not a fan of the frelancing job boards because it can get competitive and is overly crouded with freelancers from other countries that work for very low rates.
However, it is a good way to start off and gain some experience in the virtual job space. You can get projects in writing, graphic design, social media, being a virtual assistant, and much more.

Blogging and affiliate marketing
Running your own blog takes time and dedication. It’s not a get you rich overnight like some gurus make it seem. Even the best bloggers need at least 4-6 months for their SEO to kick in and Google to start recognizing them min Search Results.
The first couple months of your blogging journey will be the busiest. You will have to learn a lot of new things while executing them at the same time. I’m not sure if I would rank this as a low stress job but once you have some consistent traffic and have been doing it for a couple years, it can require minimum time and effort.
Once you have some traffic established you can start selling digital products or make money by linking affiliate products on your blog.

Virtual Assistant
Virtual assistants provide administrative support to businesses or individuals remotely. Tasks can include managing emails, scheduling appointments, data entry, and basic research. This job requires good organizational and communication skills.
Data Entry
Data entry involves inputting information into databases, spreadsheets, or other systems. It’s a straightforward task that typically doesn’t require specialized skills, making it suitable for beginners.
Customer Service Representative
This is a very laid back job and probably one of the easiest work from home jobs for moms.
Many companies hire remote customer service representatives to handle customer inquiries via phone, chat, or email. While some roles might require specific skills (which some train you for), others only require good communication and problem-solving abilities.
Online Tutoring or Teaching
If you have expertise in a particular subject, you can offer online tutoring or teaching services. Platforms like VIPKid, Teachable, and Coursera allow you to create and sell your courses. Teaching English as a second language is also a popular option.
If you have an established blog that gets regular traffic, this job will be even easier. You can sell your courses on you blog and make some decent indirect income.
Canva Graphic Designer
Canva is easy to work. It’s super beginner friendly and is a drag and drop tool.
Learning how to use Canva is ideal because it’s a skill that can make things easier for yourself. It’s also a skill in high demand and you can charge between $20 – $60 for a design.
You can create social media content or even make videos for brands. Find a niche you’re passionate about and start creating.
Remember, while these jobs are generally considered low-stress and easy to start, they still require dedication, time management, and a strong work ethic. Be sure to research each opportunity thoroughly and make sure it aligns with your skills and interests. As you gain experience and confidence, you can explore more advanced remote job options.
